As vehicle manufacturers put more and more into engine compartments and the components are packed more closely together, the need for more effective heat shields is growing. Manufactured at approx. 1600º C, Lapinus RS fibres are incombustible and have excellent high-temperature performance. This makes them ideal for creating heat-resistance papers with far better performance than cellulose and glass, and at much lower cost than aramide, carbon and ceramic fibres. A further benefit of Lapinus heat-resistant papers is their recyclability. Heat shields made with Lapinus papers easily meet the growing requirements for recycling.
